Dome light in the second row as well as the dome light in the bed of the truck work GREAT! and guess what? you can control both while sitting in the driver seat.

Thats why I posted the thread. I used to Love toyotas. And my Frontier. But the 4runner was sub par on many levels. Most of it based on my disappointment because i didnt see the problems during the test drive and research. I just had too much faith in Toyota and figured I couldnt go wrong.

The ecoboost engine is really nice. The power is incredible. Its really nice to hit the gas and go with out hearing the engine scream. The 2nd row is HUGE.
 
Best thing I ever did?-
Sell my 2004 FX4 F150 and got a t4r!!! Seriously!

The Ford was cool for about 45k miles, then Ford sends people to your house in the middle of the night to loosen everything on the truck! Road like a Harley on a bad stretch of road after about 50k miles... To each their own, but the F150 is no prize!

I guess you haven't heard about all the problems people are having with the transmission in the new F150. Don't take my words for it. Go look for yourself on the F150 forums.
 
To whomever recommended get a Raptor... they have terrible on road characteristics, crap mpg, and if you USE them for what they are advertised for the frame bends, look it up.

ecoboost is nice, have a friend with one, they don't get the advertised mpg though. I'm a just a few away from knocking down what they do. and i can pull a hell of a lot more... it's a lot of money for a truck that's a 1/2 ton, and is a v6 GASSER. But that's just my opinion. Diesels are a lot of fun

IMO a 4runner isn't a tow vehicle and probably won't ever be.
