The Bilstein website says they are "Lifetime Warranty" item. They would handle that and also they will tune them to your specs is you desire to pay the price. So would these 6112/bts be rebuild able or tunable?
(1) No, they do not. Also do either of these come with the upper shock tower mounts. If not where can I get some besides the dealer.
No, according to this just published from Bilstein.Did they really disco the 5160 rears for the 5th Gen.
Real release date.......Hmmmmm..........Bilstein is saying beginning of 2015.Any idea on a real release date yet.
Well, you can't have them yesterday, you will have to wait just like the rest of us! :faint:I want these things yesterday.
This is what you stated in post #51......really want to try before I buy but its tough with these products since you really dont know what u are getting until you buy and install.
No matter how many times you state this, I don't think this is going to happen unless you find someone that has them installed on the same application you have to determine you answer. I don't think Bilstein has this type of program available, but if they do let us know.....I really wish there was a way to test these out before buying as anytime I buy shocks / coilovers its a crap shoot based on reviews and opinions of others which is very subjective....
....the 6112's would allow for a few inches of lift in the front and you'd have to get bigger springs in the back right to level it?
So for my '03 V8, would it be best to leave rear springs stock or change to something like an FJ spring?
Here is the full article , it would be better if you would have included the last sentence that is in bold in my posting!
What is shown in the photo for the front is the BTS System, not the 6112's.

Chas of MRT,
Can you include any interested parties here at T4R.ORG if you do a group buy for the TacomaWorld guys/gals??
I am not sure how posting links here is going to be received by the mods so I left it out, but I should have posted that information. I took these out to Barstow and ran the MORE 25mile race course. The shocks did not flinch. I am working on a full writeup, but we are still working on the valving.
Will have to check with the mods! Total Automotive will be the first in the country to get them and will be offering some awesome pricing on them for you all.
Regarding the release date: The 05+ Tacoma, FJ, 03+ 4runner & 07+ Tundra are in production now, we should be shipping last week of Jan.
Chas of MRT, could you comment on what would an appropriate rear spring for an '03 V8 4Runner if I put the 8112 on the front?
