Can some one please explain this

For those who has double battery setup in two different parts of engine bay and also have air compressor, can someone please measure the length, width and height or the tray and air compressor. I want to see if the tray with battery would fit on the other side of the intake closer to windshield on the right side of the engine bay and if air compressor will fit next to new AIC toyota placed like it is on the picture.
Thank you in advance!

Alex, if you are putting the 2nd. Battery closer to the windshield you would not need to spend the extra $$ for the Aussie tray as its biggest plus is the PS bracket. Bring your tape measure when coming over ;)

Alex_t4r Depth shouldn't be a problem for a battery on the passenger side near the windshield. I have my ARB Twin Compressor there and it's about as tall (if not taller) than a battery. Finding a good mounting solution for the tray would be a bit of a challenge, but not one that a good custom welding shop can't fix for you.

There are several sizes of compressors so I can't really give you an answer there, but you can always stick a portable one in the back of your truck and use the 12V outlet there to power it. If you are not running air-lockers, that might be good enough of a solution for you.

Okki

Thank you Sir, i'm defiantly bringing the tape measure and hopefully I will be able to come over soon. What about heavy duty wires? Dave it seems like you got your wires somewhere else and you just order the tray from AU, if i'm not mistaken.

I know some people did the Kodiak dual battery system, but i think you can't just simple buy the kit, you also have to purchase the dual battery and it comes out to $895 dollars, i think a little pricey.

You can buy just the kit without the batteries. He is very easy going. I put mine in in a couple of hours hand have no regrets. ( I also don't have any aux loads except for my compressor so far).

I was under impression you have to buy the whole kit, but it is nice to know that you can buy the kit separately. Do you have pictures of your setup?
Thanks!

Yeah, just the tray. I went with the Blue Sea system since its designed to be bullet proof.
