Installed this weekend. Outstanding lights and nice write up! Kudos to the OP!
The lights have a small gap all they way around and seem to set back further than the stock lights.
Is it possible to take a picture of the small gap you are referring to?
Thanks, Joe
I'll see if I can go take a photo.
I would appreciate it. :whoo:
Done!
Question for you guys that have the Morimoto Led fogs installed. I picked up a set of them and after installing I am not getting anywhere near the output im seeing in the pictures and video here. Mine are also very Blue/Purple tinted where the photos look much more white. I would compare them to a 6000-7000 kelvin HID, where I was expecting a match to my 4500 kelvin Morimoto HID’s. Are the pictures misleading or is my set jacked up? Was there a break in period where they whitened up?
I bought the factory 2nds for $70 and I’m wondering if that was the issue but I was told the only difference was cosmetic. Hopefully I didn’t screw myself going cheap because these are final sale.
Absolutely white.
They should not look blue/purple at all.
No break in period on LED's!
Should have bought new from reputable seller with the 3 year warranty!
Steadymobbin still works for the discount, just ordered mine. Has anyone with 14/15 worked out how to get rid of the gap with the housing?
Saker; Thanks for posting those pics. Is the gap due to the diameter of the new fog lamp or does it have to do with the mount point location.? Can something be shaved down in back to minimize the gap?

Peyto; Thanks for the install tips. Hope they get up here quickly, can't wait to match up my PIAA xtreme whites!
