I don't want to start a new thread. Is there a product like this that comes with a yellow bulb? I know that LEDs came made in different colors, just haven't seen any fog lights with yellow bulbs. I'd prefer not to tint the lens. Thanks.

I've ordered their HID kit for my bike and really liked their products. Has anyone tried something like this before? 900 lumen LED seems like might be enough.

Joe,
There is a very small gap between the actual projector lens and the bezel it fits up to.
Some people have placed the Morimoto LED unit into the OEM adjustment housing, but I don't know if that remedies that slight gap or not....
I'll see if I can go take a photo.
The gap does not effect the output of the fixture.

Question for you guys that have the Morimoto Led fogs installed. I picked up a set of them and after installing I am not getting anywhere near the output im seeing in the pictures and video here. Mine are also very Blue/Purple tinted where the photos look much more white. I would compare them to a 6000-7000 kelvin HID, where I was expecting a match to my 4500 kelvin Morimoto HID’s. Are the pictures misleading or is my set jacked up? Was there a break in period where they whitened up?
I bought the factory 2nds for $70 and I’m wondering if that was the issue but I was told the only difference was cosmetic. Hopefully I didn’t screw myself going cheap because these are final sale.

The Morimoto fogs are garbage in my opinion as I have said in other threads. I think the stock lights have much better width. I originally had them in my Corolla but quickly put them in the runner. My headlights are great on the runner that the fogs did not matter.
Now if these brackets fit the early 5th Gens, which I expect the do, I will be throwing some Rigid Amber Dually's in there to go with the 30" Amber SR on the bumper.

Absolutely white.
They should not look blue/purple at all.
No break in period on LED's!
Should have bought new from reputable seller with the 3 year warranty!

That’s what I thought.
I did purchase them new from TRS but they offer ones that didn’t pass for perfect (dust under the lens, small scratches) for $70. I guess I have to call them and bit** about the fact these are not fully functional as advertised. Hopefully they will take them back and I will buy the regular ones.

Yes that code still works for discount, I used it not long ago for spare HID's.
I don't know of anyone posting that they reduced/got rid of the small gap.
I remember someone removed the light assembly from the bracket and used the OEM bracket to install the LED foglight assembly, but never commented on the gap, only that fit was better IIRC. They may have just been referring to the mounting of the bolts/assembly.
When I installed mine, the gap didn't seem to bother me or my non-OCD!

I (finally) installed mine today. I was curious about this and did a quick side by side comparison and the actually diameter seemed very close to identical leading me to believe that it is the mount point location that causes the gap. Spend a bit of time trimming the tabs with a dremel so that it sits the way you want it. The tabs were a more snug fit for me than in a lot of pictures on this thread so the trimming was a big factor in centring the lamp There will still be a gap but it looks fine to me.
I used barryhiram's method (post #19) on my 2014 TE. The steps were largely the same with a few exceptions. The slots for the tabs will look a little bit different, but same process. I had to do a fair bit of trimming on the tabs to make it fit the way I wanted it, and ended up taking off some plastic on both the tabs as well as shortening them to ensure a solid fit. I would also echo other posters in saying that the passenger side is a bit of PIA with the cover over that lamp. Hard to explain but it is a tab that is holding it into place - I just removed the tab on the right side and that gave me enough room to get the new fog into place.

How quickly they arrive is all up to customs now!
Just went for a drive after dark and these are most definitely brighter than stock. No ambiguity about it. Very pleased!
Finally got mine installed. Love the look but make my PIAA xtreme white look yellow. Probably go with Morimoto hid next time they are on sale as [MENTION=103267]Saker[/MENTION] is happy with his setup...Did try to capture pics but damn iPhone washes everything out as well as too much glare....Same challenge as [MENTION=111106]Peyto[/MENTION] had to trim a lot more than others have mentioned on here both in length and width. Still have to adjust drivers side left /right as it has a lazy eye look too much to the drivers side. I've edited a pic on here to show how much I've trimmed to date with probably more to come. Seems canadian models are slightly different fit?
