Geez!!! ... one sucky way to start off the new year... Sorry to hear about it Bobby, but Dang!.. nice job on the DIY repair. I know I would not have been able to do that nice a job.

Damn man. I don't understand why people have to do that to other people's rides. Probably just jealous of yours, i know i am. Great job on the repairs!
 
Man, what a jerk! At least you have the airbrush skills to fix it! I would have been screwed…

I'm sure you can see the fix a little unclose and in person, but it looks like you did a great job on the blending.
 
WOW! great job on the fix...impressive. It is not easy to get it even that close.

Blows that it had to come to that...people suck.
 
Welcome to the pacific nw. I am new to the forum as I have just got a 14' trail..

Anyhow, you should check out gitout.com Its a regional forum with lots of local info on trails and trips. Plus, there is usually a trail run most weekends. It's a good mix of vehicles.

Seriously though, good job! A 30/30 4Runner is just fine! 30 feet away or 30 mph you can't tell it from factory!

Very interesting to see the step by step process! Not that I'd ever have the balls or talent to do this, but very cool to see how you re-purposed your skills from other hobbies to fix this.

You should start a side business with your skills...why don't you start by flying down to WV and painting some flames down a certain somebodies 4runner. I'd paid to see that :)

Haha...whatever is pretty much installed on my truck. Having worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years kinda helps. Now that I'm limited without having an actual "garage", I have to go to real shops to get stuff like alignments.

Today's charge for sliders and wet okoles was a venti salted caramel latte. I enjoy helping others with their projects and it's not like it was overly difficult to do. I'd be happy to help you out with some installs.
