Dyno and Remapped today

I know different dynos read different and there's other factors that affect the numbers too, but damn that's nuts.

2wd Dynojet - same.

I don't know what to say - them's my numbers. The truck is fast now (legitimately) and it runs well. I'm not going to get hung up about 20hp on a dyno. BMW 335 had trouble keeping up with me getting onto the freeway today. When he finally caught up, he was laughing and gave me the thumbs up. No chance that happens stock.

BTW - I did some reading and some tuning of the B map (last night and this afternoon). There were no values set under 3k RPM. I did some driving up and down some long hills, and there were definitely some instances when it was knocking a bit in the 2k-2750 range at low psi. Remapped, and it's doing better. Gonna need some more fine-tuning, but it's almost perfect now. Glad kigmob hooked me up with some knowledge there.

Those are some pretty nice results. Tuning makes a huge difference not just in the power made but for the life of the motor as well. Did you do the trans valve body upgrade with shift kit to beef up the trans?

Yep - did the shift kit before the SC. I love the way it shifts now, and it was an excellent upgrade regardless of the SC IMO.

No problem man! If map B is your fuel map, thats normal to not have any values in the cells before 3K RPM. I think mine is like that. These motors can handle the fuel supply at low RPMs but need the 7th in higher RPMs to keep up. If I remember correctly, mine doesn't add fuel until 3K RPM's and 4 psi. And my AFR's are just fine.

Well, I left map B alone, but I did adjust Map A columns under 4psi by 20% that seems to have helped a lot. I figured I'd also need to tune map B more, but won't mess with it until I install the O2 sensor and do some logging. Truck is running sweet, but I keep experimenting with things... I'll leave it alone for now.

Oh. well there's the difference... yours is auto and mine is manual. so you have more loss through your trans than I do.

Nice job on the tuning. The 3.4 w/ boost is pretty fun :zoom:

Glad to hear the tune helped out a lot. I really need to get a wideband O2 sensor then I will really get a tune.

J.B., any chance you want to help with my 7th install?

Just hit the dyno, they will stuff a wbo2 up your tailpipe. Believe me your truck will love it. LOL

Sure.

Don't have much free time right now, but once you get everything ready then maybe I can make some time depending on what month it is.

I have an Innovate wideband O2 in mine.
