eBay uniball control arms?

a HID bulb seller on egay did the same thing. OEM phillips 85122 bulbs were $69 all day, but they raised the price to almost $200 because they were out of stock. now that they have stock, price dropped back to the $69.

Did I get the right bolt?
Friday I installed the ebay upper control arms with all pro slug adapters and included grade 5 bolts. The bushing sleeves where wider than the bushings, one of them about 1/4" wider. I cut them to down to size.
Today I went to Lowe's and bought 2 3/4-10x5 grade 8 bolts. I tried the bolts on the ebay slug adapters and one of them did not fit.
Is one of the slug adapters too small or did I get the wrong bolt. Is 3/4-10x5 grade 8 the right size?

The UCA's are back in stock which means they're now again 250! I just pulled the trigger on these and just ordered mine. Why the heck not. Figured i'd put these on while putting on new wheel bearings next week.

S***. I don't know why when I clicked on the link in the first post it automatically redirected me to the 3rd gen UCA's. Plus it said 4runner 96-04 but you're right. Completely wrong UCA's. Gonna have to call ebay tomorrow to cancel that

There are multiple people who have bought them and haven't had an issue. I'd say there's no more a risk running these than the LR UCAs, even if the LR UCAs have made design changes to fix their original problems. At some point someone outsourced their UCAs, and whatever company copied their design. I'd say they have about the same chance of failing as any other piece that isn't maintained and if you're inspecting your aftermarket pieces on a regular basis, you should see the failure before it happens.
I was actually being sarcastic. I didn't expect a serious answer.
It's interesting you reference LR UCA. Having had LR parts fail on me in the past (causing thousands in damage) those would be the last company I would ever buy from, it's too bad LR didn't go out of biz when the economy got tough. Unfortunately there will always be a segment of the population that shops price, then quality.
It seems from this thread folks just need to be ready to modify certain parts, swap out the bolts, etc. sounds like a quality product.:wink2:

realistically these eBay UCA's are a shell product to build up to your needs

Yup! If one could source non-poly bushings for these, cut the old ones out and use upgraded hardware everywhere, they would be fantastic.
I will absolutely be ordering a pair when they are back in stock, and will be doing a full upgrade on them. I will post a guide with parts list and what-not.

I'm glad we were able to help him, and others, get the correct adapters and new bushings to go in the eBay arms. While not everything on eBay is made in China, you simply cannot source quality components for a set of arms for $250. Our arms are 100% made in the USA.
