Georgia (SE) area Meetup!

I'm lurking on this thread. I have 2 kids and holiday weekends fill up fast, and I am wheeling the Great Smoky Mountain Trail Run the weekend before. Post up a schedule as the details shake out and I may be able to meet up for a bit.

I'm going to flush it this weekend when I'm free and just hope for the best. That's all I can really do since I don't have the history of it except for what I've done to the car

[MENTION=90485]URBAN ASSAULT[/MENTION] we'll be posting details as soon as they are decided. Hope you can make it out. Plan is to do an overnight event so more people can participate. Dates are the 24th and 25th.

We need to get the details worked out as soon as possible to give people the time to get everything planned out.

Everyone that's on the fence should just go ahead and plan for it! The ride was a ton of fun!! It was technical enough not to fall asleep on the drive, yet everything is passable in 2wd! It's got a little bit of everything to get your feet wet if you're new to offroading as well. A little bit of rocks, ruts, and mud.

Unfortunately it is not a rumor :behindsofa: looking to upgrade to something with 4wd (maybe another 4runner) but I'm not in any hurry to sell her and will hopefully still have my 4runner when this meet up goes down!
 
You can count me in. It'll be my son and I, who is 16 and dreams of a new FJ every night.....

I'm still bone stock, but I'm quite positive I wont have any problems.

Preliminary Details

Dates:
May 24th and 25th (Memorial Day Weekend)

Location:
Tray Mountain (Helen, GA and surrounding trails)

Meetup info:
Saturday May 24th at 10AM at Walmart Supercenter parking lot
Walmart Supercenter, 260 Donald E Thurmond Pkwy, Cleveland, GA 30528
(Meet and greet/Maintenance workshop/Group pics/Build showcase)

Group Ride time: 11:30AM

Camping area picked out and coordinates to be posted soon. With proper parking we can get up to 20 vehicles in the site.

Previous headcount was twelve but we are now up to about 16-18 with some people coming from Augusta and Columbus. To get a final number going please reply to the thread (even if you already have) saying that you're in:brushteeth: and how many in your party.This will make it easier for organizers and planning a successful GA Meetup.

This is still preliminary and additional details (Day two info, etc) will be added but just to give people a headsup. Consideration for second camp site will be given based on final headcount. That was me! 1998 rwd stock on street tires. You will be fine. Im 17 so looking forward to having someone else my age out there.
