I have HomeLink...

actually just got it programmed today because our garage door broke...

hold down far left and right button to clear previous codes and use the remote and ceiling unit in garage to program...

in other news i finally got my IROK super swamper's mounted and balanced on my 5 star rims that i FINALLY finished painting after a long arduous battle with sanding and spray can painting.... definitely going to just bite the bullet next time and have them professionally painted or power coated.... just honestly not worth the hassle it is to prep and paint IMO...













also hit a cool mileage recently. . .









had a little playdate with [MENTION=100687]Konkordmusk[/MENTION] at my place and went to his work place to have a little welding action on my Rola roof rack to add a couple more mounting tabs for support.....

TEQ emblems

got some TEQ badges 3d printed for the rear hitch "toyota" logo and the grill's front "toyota" logo...

after some paint they should look good...

had them printed the same exact size as the logos mentioned for an exact size replacement.

E-Brake Extension

worked on my emergency brake bracket extension.

just got a an "L" shaped bracket that was laying around, bent it as straight as i could... and chopped one end off and drilled some holes...

used the spare tire bolts for the axel and got some other hardware to secure the e-brake cable bracket,..

this weekend i drove down to LA to visit some salvage yards and pick up random 4runner parts for a vacation of sorts... lol.

i ended up finding some cool stuff but you really have to get to these types of places right when the vehicle gets there otherwise its picked to pieces.


my main goal was to find some OEM glass which i found... got the rear hatch glass and passenger side glass... mine was some gnarly swirls on it from the previous owner where they washed the vehicle's glass with something abrasive, and being that the glass is tempered, you can't polish it out..

$160 for all that glass wasn't bad though.



4runners were hard to come by and only really found a handful...

2nd gen 4runners are much more accessible but also because they are older naturally

bump stop extensions w/ ARB blocks

took the square ARB steel blocks that are originally intended for a tacoma ARB bumper install (i believe) and re-pourposed them into bump stop extensions (i hope i didn't need these to install with my front ARB bumper). i used the stock bump stops.

With the help of [MENTION=53337]SCRunner12[/MENTION] & [MENTION=100687]Konkordmusk[/MENTION] we meticulously measured and determined that the perfect bolt length was an M8-1.25 x 90MM

changed my oil. pretty exciting i know, but this time i got a larger filter from the dealer. +2 HP


went from a 90915-YZZD1 to a 90915-YZZD3

you can see the size difference.

I can't believe yelling at the tire failed to pop it right off.
I can however believe that a big a** oil filter is going to make
