Added some rear upper and lower control arms to my main bae...

I've had the upper toytec links for years and just recently picked up the lowers from [MENTION=83356]rideexileex[/MENTION] that made them custom..

it was about time I slapped this in...

In the middle of the installation of these links, a lady in distress approached TIM and I... Her rubber tire had become dismounted from the plastic wheel of her scooter....

we used the press to get the tire back on the plastic wheel and put it back on...

maybe [MENTION=120071]mtbtim[/MENTION] and I will start a scooter fixing youtube series...

this is the second one I've seen over the last 4 years going fairly consistently in my area so from my perspective it's pretty rare.

Finally got my tachometer surround back into my vehicle. I had been driving around for almost a year with nothing there! shame on me. This was inspired by [MENTION=74071]Brilliant[/MENTION] in an attempt to accommodate both switches in the same space. Let's face it, switch openings are limited and this makes it look more "stock".

[MENTION=120071]mtbtim[/MENTION] and I did a little video on [MENTION=146407]Plastics guy[/MENTION] DuroBumps. Great product and can already feel the difference. a lot less jarring when I go ham over the mall speed bumps. Front and rear bumps installed.

2 slot bezel's do not exist in the wild, one must make it thyself. I sourced a slot from a Toyota van I think and cut up my bezel and glued it in. but if I were to do it again I would have pushed it over a little or relocated the light dimmer switch, because I had to cut out some of the dash behind it and it fits extremely tight and is even pushed a little to the side. literally barely fits.

Planned a trip to Tahoe and got a last minute sicmod done. Drilled some holes in the plastic trim piece that has the dome light. I swapped out my light with an LED light with the festoon adapter and tied in the additional 2 lights using the festoon adapter. It’s super bright back there now and I plan to run more of these little eagle eye bullet lights into the rear hatch but I’m not looking forward to running the wire into the hatch.. sounds like a pain!



There are some open cavities in the top that I tried to line up the lights with so they had room once I pushed the plastic trim piece back into position but I don’t think it really matters because the mounting points are taller than the lights so it really should work anywhere in that plastic piece..

On my way up to Tahoe I was driving too close to the shoulder and got pulled into the snow bank! Haha. Good times. A guy in a truck pulled me out no problem and CHP was giving me a hard time. But all is well that ends well I always say!

Started to paint my lil’ skips skid Tim got me for X-mas. I cleaned it real good, primed then painted, but I’m heavy handed with the can and get to close to the item I’m painting so some weird stuff happened to the paint which caused it to crack... I wet sanded it down real good in preparation for another coat of flat black.
