Yea, I'm not sure what happened.. but they all got their hands on something recently. This is really good news for 5th gen owners. Give it some time and the tunes will really be helpful for drive ability. Obviously voids the warranty and is not legal in a CARB state, so won't be that popular at first.

yeah surprised the Toyota ECU has been hacked finally...

either way it can be converted back to stock like the ecutek or ktuner by swapping the programs...
 
I'm surprised that noone here has reported being in the pilot program.

I wonder why ...

1. No T4R.org member selected? (seems unlikely)

2. The program doesn't permit disclosure? (seems possible)

3. Anyone that was selected wants to be beneath the radar? (seems likely)

4. They want to wait until agreements are signed and payments are made... People back out....can't come up with money or whatever. Give it a few more days and I'm sure you will see more info.

Something tells me there's been 2 5th gens running around. The White one the Magnuson always shows and then the one guy I posted. He has posts of his T4R with Magnuson stickers on it from early to August. Says he's been running one since Aug 4ish.

May not have a choice.

Most companies have individuals sign an NDA to insure that all things are handled first by the company if there are any hiccups before people with no education on said product go off on random tangents. Its very common. Which may be the case. Im sure those who were selected will announce when they receive theirs. I did at least.

Far from it. Many factors were involved with the selection. It really came down to getting each year that the kit was intended for and also insuring all ECM numbers were addressed to insure that the tune paired with it

The white one is Magnusons test vehicle which is a 2017 SR5. The other is mine .
