another one for ya..

every SR5 I could find comes with the 3rd row seats.. I do not want them, I want the extra storage.. is it easy to swap on my own or should I tell my dealer to remove that option?

Delete that option. There is a ton of stuff in the back that goes with third row, like seat belts and airbags, that make it more hassle than it is worth. Just don't get them in the first place.

Also, understand that by NOT getting a moonroof, you will be giving up power seats. And you can't get a TE or LE without a moonroof. So really, you're choices are a base model or a moonroof.

well, i'm stuck going with an SR5 due to financial reasons, and I do want the sunroof/moonroof. that will be a deal breaker for me.

i'm going to let my dealer know to delete that option..

Hey folks.. got an email from my dealer, they have a black SR5.. I won't be back to home till Thursday, so may not be able to pick it up.. BUUUT..

Black VS Galactic Grey (the darker of the grays) which one do you like best?

I had the scoop on my last 4th Gen Sport and it definitely caught it's fair share of bugs and was a pain to clean.

It's easier than cleaning bugs and crap out of the top mounted intercooler in the STI haha.

another thing:

2010 vs 2011 exhausts are the same? Looking at this borla piping here....
differences between 2010 and 2011 dash? the Avic z130bt is already ordered, but need to get the dash kit..
speaker pods/ spacers the same for both years?
any online store builds us custom subwoofer boxes? Already have the 12" sub.
I really don't want to play with making my own box, but if I have to.. I may..

I am assuming the best spot for amps to go to is under rear seats.. any disagreement on this?

and I think, for now, the mod bug should be satisfied... I just need to get the car now..

Personally I would go with Galactic Grey. I've seen a couple locally in that color and really think it's sharp. My wife has it in her Camry and a neighbor in a Highlander. Don't get me wrong, black is nice but I had a previous generation T4R in Black and we currently also have an 10' Corolla in black. It's always a bigger pain keeping it clean between washes and I have to say that the smallest of scratches seem to be magnified on black. My wife and I would actually look at the weather forcast and if it was going to rain would make sure that the black vehicle remained in the garage and something else was driven instead, simply to prolong the "good looks" after a washing. Also, if the dealer had a grey when I was buying my Trail I would have opted for that color. Instead, I have the Salsa Red which I've really gotten to like over time.

I bought a 2010 SR5 and put a OEM trail edition hood on it, i just traded it in on a 2011 Limited and doing the same thing
