Havent got any answers to my question. But after looking around the forums some more have come across another way to go on the lift.
4Runner
This way does not have as complete a lift as in parts wise. But claims to give a 2" lift. via Bj spacers and springs. with extended shocks.
The rought country kit I had mentioned before has all kinds of parts including springs and drop brackets.
There would be a couple hundred price difference between the 2 but I just did a side job and could afford either kit.
Someone please give me some input before I go into this blind!

well it shows two different ones. if youre talking about the ome lift, id go that route if you dont mind the price

ya i saw the ome lift. it seems to me that the only difference between the 2 was that the 0ne comes with shocks and the other doesnt.
it does say you get to choose from spacer kit or torsion bars. I assumed that spacer kit was the differential drop kit.
which i have found already .
and the shocks i can get just about anywhere.
but maybe im not understanding all this correctly.

Looks like I'm gonna go with fat bobs garage 2" lift kit. comes with BJ spacers, coil springs, diff. drop brackets, shocks all the way around and all the hardware for around $400

Here is mine... 100% stock with 33x10.50x15 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2's... NO RUBBING, even at full lock!
Lift? What lift!? We don't need no stinking lift! :lol:

Lift question
Hey all. I am in the middle of doing a suspension lift on my 94 4runner.
I bought the 2" lift kit from fat bob's garage.
I did one of the coil springs last nite.
I had to disconnect the sway bar to get the bigger spring in.
I noticed that the rubber boot on this peice is broken.
So I want to replace them.
What is this peice called first of all?
And second, With the lift is it going to be neccessary to get longer ones?
The kit did not come with them.
Pics are attached of the kit and the peice I am speaking of.

I am looking to get about 1" of lift from my 89 4runner's front end. Is it worth getting a BJS and Diff drop kit or should I just crank the bars with everything factory? I don't want to sacrifice any reliability, or accelerate the wear and tear on my front end significantly.

IMO, you'll be much happier with a ball joint spacer and the tbars relaxed half an inch.

Newby needing help with lift kit options
Hello all,
I have a 95 4runner that has very tired suspension and must be replaced. I want to put a lift in that will accommodate the 33" tires I have sitting in my garage but don't know where to start. I am going to have all the install done professionally but want to buy the components myself. No idea where to start. I am also going to replace the tie rods and wheel bearings at the same time. Can someone please start me off in the right directionow and help me with what all is going to be needed to do this.
