My recent 'Toyota' radiator is from Taiwan and by Denso. You'll notice the unimpressive plastic top tank pretty quickly.
380K KM and still on OEM radiator. In the shop this week and likely replacing due to small leakage that is believed to be messing up the inside heat not working as expected (heater core is fine, thermo replaced, w.pump is fine, throttle switch on the firewall is replaced, burped the bea*tch, so...only thing left is rad and voila, small leak.

Nevermind on the "Taiwan" thing. I was apparently dreaming that. Mine says Japan, probably original. Planning on doing mine next weekend. My coolant (and radiator) does/do look pretty good, despite no records of ever changing coolant, but replacing seems like the conservative thing to do. I didn't buy a $2,500 truck to, at any point, double my investment by purchasing a replacement transmission.
It's got Toyota red in it now. I guess I'll keep it red, and dilute that 50/50. I've never done a radiator, but this looks like one of the easiest vehicles to learn on, judging by the how-to videos.

One of the easiest I've done. Your transmission cooler lines are probably going to be stuck to the transmission cooler fittings on the bottom of the radiator. I had good success taking a pair of slip joint pliers and trying to rotate the hose on the fitting if that makes sense
