You've never driven that fast?
Why post something like that on here? So some kid surfing see's it and gets the idea he wants to see if mom or dads 4runner will go that fast.

Mmm, okay, my 9-yr-old is driving over 200mph on his very realistic video game, and I should be worried about this shaky video? Kids have been tempted to top out their parent's cars since they were steam driven. Personally, I'd like to know how fast my 4R would top out at without having to actually do it. I tried it in my Audi some years ago, changed my mind when it easily hit 120 with a gear to go.

I frequently drive at 90 on the highway in my 4R. I never dip below 80.

I got banned b/c I apparently instigated a flame war- have no idea what that is but I sure didn't mean to !!
BTW- we found the guy that hit her and he had insurance after all !! I am dealing with insurance companies, adjusters etc.. it is such a pain!!

Fortunate kid indeed. It's up to the parents to decide what their capacity is and what they think is appropriate for their kid. I'm pretty sure most of you have heard the show "Sweet 16" and I know a lot of guys in the MB and BMW forums would flip to hear that some 16 yr old girl who barely started driving now drives a new SL550 or M6. :bash:
Try hanging out in the luxury car forums, it's worse. The kids themselves have "temporary cars" which are: Mercedes GL450, Mercedes E350, some even have a BMW 550i "FOR NOW" till the new BMW M5 comes out..
Congrats on the purchase and hopefully he'll take good care of that 4R and become a safe driver :thumb3:
It was great-since it was at my Mom's he opened at home and after said i guess I am not getting a car-His sister said why don't you go and check the driveway-I said that is so mean He is not getting a car- we got to my mom's and while everyone is openeing it I pull it out of garage to front of house where we plan to go- they all got coats from Mom so she said go outside and get a picture while it is snowing(1st ever white Christmas ) for us in Alabama -so the 6 kids go outside and he is trying to put his coat on without taking off the tag(in case it doesn't fit) and he doesn't see it so I say go stand in front of the car and he stops and looks at me and looks at the 4 runner and points to it and then him-it was priceless!! He's been driving it- got the blades/filter replaced and then went and got tag yesterday !!2 other of his friends got cars also!!
