Apparently there actually is a whole month Japanese summer vacation according to member Daniel who lives over there. I'm actually still interested despite those other two negatives. The price might be a deal breaker though. We'll see.

I'm suprised no one is interested in the FENDER FLARES . There is a pic of a nice 4th gen with fender flares in THIS THREAD.

I have given them a month since my last post and still no response, so I am not going to pursue the grill further. Those fender flares are pretty sweet though, and aren't actually made by Shuei, so I am pursueing other vendors. I found a guy in Canada that reps Over Fender and will import them. I'll keep you all posted on the cost and details, either in my gallery thread or by starting another Fender Flare specific thread in case anyone is interested in a group buy.

The quotes below are from Nolocs gallery thread and it should answer your question. I am in contact with the guy too and I just asked him about a group buy and he said they don't give discounts for that. Only 5% over 100,000JPY and 10% over 300,000JPY of parts. I did mainly ask him because it SHOULD be less frieght I would think. I am going to reply and find out. With shipping charges like noloc has there, it would be nice to cut some of that out. I am going to reply asking him the cost for one set shipped and a seperate cost for 5 sets shipped. I see you are in the OC too. Still interested at these prices.

I got a quote on the grill shown above and it only about 56buck shipping, so maybe it is less to the west coast. Who knows. More details about the grill can be found in my gallery thread linked in my sig.

I want to say that I have seen it somewhere else, but I can't remember. I think it might have been called something like Battlez. I am pretty sure that spelling is off.


That black 4runner pictured in an earlier post is actually by this company: http://www.boom-enterprises.com/fr.htm

I contacted them and they were really nice. He told me that: "The rim size is 22 x 9.0 +15mm center hub 106.2mm which is exclusively for Toyota 4-runner." I think this is finally an example of a 4runner with 22s that I like! I am going to ask him if he has anymore pics other than the ones on his website.

It's pretty much a copy of the Jaos exhaust. The Jaos sounds better and is a little lighter.
