I feel left out, my 2010 US LE doesn't have the hazing.. mine looks brand new
Anybody else NOT have the hazing or is this inevitable???
I have heard of bug removers causing something like this, maybe a chemical in a washing product??

I hand wash all of my vehicles with specific car wash soap, so I don't think its a reaction to a chemical. I suspect that its more likely a reaction of the plastic (or a chemical within it) to environmental elements. My headlamps did not exhibit the hazing until it spent more time out in the sun. The hazing on my headlamps is light, so the dealer may want to buff it out. I only have about 3 months of warranty left, so I need to take it in and get it looked at.

Yeah, get the issue documented before the warranty runs out.. I have 6 months left on warranty and no hazing at all. There doesn't seem to be a consistent pattern, some were early low miles, some garaged vehicles, different climates?? Maybe it is just the amount of UV exposure,,
I just remembered that I did use "Plexus" plastic cleaner and protector maybe 3-4 times times over the least 2 years to clean off bugs from the headlights, I use it on my motorcycle... I don't know if that made a difference or coincidence???
The pair of lights can be had for about $400 (discounted) parts only... if a claim is denied or outside of warranty..

I had my headlights replaced yesterday. The old ones looked pretty bad. My drivers side lumbar stopped crunching the day I drove it to the dealer to have the headlights checked out. So of course they denied doing the seatback TSB. I only have a 1,000 miles left on the warranty and I'm hoping the crunching starts again soon.

Terminator, you are not alone. I do not see any surface oxidation on mine either ...knocking on wood...
I did apply either Klasse AIO or Collinite 845 on headlights when I bought my 4Runner new. Not sure whether it helps or not, time will tell.

Thanks, good to know that I am not the only one, mine look brand new still at 30 months...
I had mine done yesterday along with the driveshaft issue.
I have a 2010 SR5 but the dealer ordered or got the TE headlights instead. These are slighly smoked and look great on my Salsa Red! The dealer called me when they were about to install them and gave me the choice to go with the TE's or reorder the SR5 ones. Not a tough decision.

Thanks for the heads up Jtraskell. I found the clunk issue but never a copy of the TSB. I don't have that issue but ill print it out and hang on to it just in case.
They are replacing my headlights but the lumbar crunch couldn't be duplicated so no go on that. (I duplicated it on the ride home.)
They drove past some trees and XM lost signal an they said that's normal so they have to call SE Toyota before they do anything to it.

Catching up on the warranty issues before it runs out in a couple of months. Headlights are on order for my SR5. I asked about getting TE lamps, but the Service Manager was insistent that they had to be exact replacements. Should have the headlamps replaced by the end of the week.
I live in Phoenix, AZ so mine started fading 1 month after purchasing my 2011.
I went in for an oil change last month and asked the service associate about getting them replaced. I didn't even know about the TSB and he said he had the same issue with his Camry and he would order them for me.
I didn't hear from them for 2 1/2 weeks so I called and they said they had just arrived that day..... Went in to get them replaced and 2 hours later they let me know that one of the new ones was craked when they took it out of the box. So i guess it's another 2-3 weeks... At least they were happy to order the new lights!

Anyone using a sealant to protect the new ones for peace of mind? I saw one guy used Wolfgang but what else have any of you tried?
I heard Plexis is really good as a plastic cleaner and protectant in one. I have Meguiars sythetic sealant 21 that is great on the paint and I did use it on my original TE headlights which seemed to slow down the fading over the last 11 months in the sun.

I call my dealer and asked since I have the extended if it would be covered if I wanted the work done later, say years or many miles longer (not a fan of someone pulling the bumper). They looked into it, called me back, said that is fine....well....took her in for the oil change and state inspection today and now they say it HAS to be done withing 3/36. I had the head of the service dept call me later in the day, said the person I spoke to made a mistake but had no problem honoring the repair when I want to get it done in January. Just turned 3 years about 15 days ago with only 25k and garage kept.
He had NO clue about the iPod TSB though. Took him a while searching to find it, even though I have him the number three times and told him the 'title' of the TSB. He agreed it does apply to mine, not sure why it took so long to pull up or why he could not find it with the number. They will do that one as well no charge.

When I got home I carefully went over the front of the car and noticed the left front at the wheel well was loose and the freaking mount inside was broken. You know this happened while removing and they tried to cover it up.
Now I gotta call and be an a-hole again.
There are four screws attaching the fender trim to the bumper. three different sizes. Can anyone tell me which goes where?

Had dealer perform mine a while back, and all looks good, but I am just now noticing that my front tires rub on the front side now, and they did not before. I have already done the front fender mod, and the front fender mod appears to not have been messed with. I am wondering if anybody else who had a lift and 285s has had this issue after the dealer removed and replaced the front bumper? Maybe a quick way to fix it without taking the whole thing off again.

Almost the same thing that happened to me. Our driver side was noticeably misaligned and loose. Haven't gone back to the dealer to have them fix their problem... It looks like the same piece. I think the piece goes near where the bumper almost touches the top/arched fender flare. (It's been a few months since I looked) I tried to tighten the piece on my vehicle but the screw just kept on spinning while the black plastic piece was wobbly. Not technical terms since I have no clue what these things are called.

I have the oxidation issue and my VIN is in the affected production range.
Anyone had any luck with Canadian dealers honouring the US TSB? Briefly chatted to a Service Advisor about the issue (was in there for parts), and he stated since I was out of warranty I'd have to cover the cost.
He said they'd try the headlight polish stuff, but I told him that's for cars that are 15 years old, not 3!
I've always had the truck serviced at the dealer, and assumed they would alert me about any TSB's (I was still in warranty when the TSB was issued). I'm going to try to email the Service Manager about this and see if they'll cover (I would have assumed all TSB's would be done as they are issued - otherwise I may as well be doing the oil changes myself!).
Update: I spoke to my dealer about this, and they stated only safety related tsbs are communicated to owners. Other issues require owner complaints.
They approached Toyota Canada on my behalf who offered to cover all but $250 of the repair (total repair would cost $1200). Confirmed from the factory service manual that it's a big job. I'm going ahead with it when the parts arrive.

Thanks so much for providing this document, I printed it out and took it into the dealer and they replaced them, no questions asked. Although, I was under 3years/36k at the time. They said if I was over that, it would not have been covered.

Got mine fixed finally. Unfortunately, I found a small chip in the very front of the hood that I'm pretty sure wan't there last week but I'm not positive so I didn't pursue it.
There's a new part so it was probably redesigned.
The material was this:

but it has been replaced with:
