Got a tow to the dealership because my alternator went out. Apparently the state of WA does not have another, or the West Coast, because it will be coming from the East Coast. F-up my day, was on the way to Stevens Pass, gauges started flickering, A/C button kept blinking. ABS, Trac, Multi-terrain select, and VSC started to flask on dash. About about 3miles from the resort. Waited in the snow for about 1 hour with two pissed off passengers. Got a jump from a Jeep (extremely nice man). Went another mile up the mountain and cut out again, another hour and the tow truck arrives. No heat for 2 hours in the snow sucks.
On the Plus side, I had it delivered to Kirkland Toyota, as my normal dealership Rodland has the worst service people, not friendly, or helpful. But, the guy at Kirkland Toyota, can't say enough good things, very easy transaction I was in there and out with my rental in about 15minutes. Painless. I'll be using this dealership for future service even though it's many many miles away and I pass 3 Toyota Dealerships to get to it. The Camry feels funny, too low to the ground, but has some pick up.

THAT sucks! Glad the experience at the dealership was good...time for a dual battery setup...might of got you to the resort at least.

That sucks dude! Glad you got it towed to Kirkland, I had heard they and Bellevue where I take mine are the only two service centers worth anything. I had similar experiences being in and out with a loaner quickly with Bellevue, though only for regular services not out-of-schedule failures. Glad it worked out for you.

They are pretty accurate with that statement. Mine was actually finished in 3 weeks but I only had to run over to Gobi (1 mile from my house) for them to install instead of shipping. If you are planning on running rigid lights on there, call them and make sure they put on the right mounts. They ended up putting e series mounts on instead of the sr mounts that I wanted.

Thanks for the heads up on the timing! Unfortunately I'm not one mile from them so I'll have to settle for the free shipping.
And I don't have any lights planned for the rack as of yet... Have to mod in small doses so the Mrs doesn't get mad!

I ordered mine Jan 3, 2014 and received it Feb 19, 2014. I had them modify it for a 40" Rigid E series light bar so that may explain the time extension it took. But I'm looking forward to installing it this weekend.
As seen outside Daytona Internatinal Speedway at the Toyota display.
That photo makes the TRD look better than the official Toyota shots. I'm not digging the black bumper trim and the black cross bar with toyota spelled out though. It makes the front end look kind of featureless and "blah." The silver trim up front gives a nice look by making the front end look more complete.

My wife and I drove the 4Runner to a Jeep dealership today - relax, getting rid of the 4Runner isn't in the cards, looking for a weekend vehicle.
Got to the dealership, asked if they had any 2-door Rubicons. The salesman (he had his hair oiled, no shit!) waved at the direction of their fake rock pile where they had a lifted Sport posed next to a stripped 2-door - "Those are the only 2 doors we have on the lot." Then he stared at me.
No offer to look inside, no offer to order one or anything else. Those 2 were it, take it or leave it. We turned around and left....
Might drive into Houston next weekend...
