I was looking at those and am interested in doing the same. It seems there are two different sizes, one that is 14” and one that is 19”. Which did you get and do you know what the dfference beteween them is (besides size of course)?

Sitting in isolation as I just got back from work overseas again. Tackled an arb single compressor with CBI mount. I have to get some different/bigger battery leads when I do an upgrade next.
CBI mount had me questioning their QC? Came each piece bubble wrapped which I like. Then I took them out and they look like they used each piece as a puck in a game of floor hockey... probably wouldn’t order anything from them ever again.

Installing those stick nuts are stupid. I completed mine in about an hour, but I will say I had some help that could figure out which way to bend them. Put some anti seize on the stick nuts. I had one get stuck and I could get it off when I went to sell them. It finally broke loose, but it took me twice as long to get one stick nut off that it did to completely install both sides.

The rocker trim on the limited hangs down lower than the other models, you'll need to replace it with sr5/trd rocker trim.

Uwharrie looks like a great place to wheel. My son recently moved to Mooresville which is pretty near by. Next time I get to visit him we need to make time to take our 4Runners there. Neither one of us wants to deal with off road pin striping if we can help it but from what I've seen there are trails that are plenty wide enough.

For sure, most are pretty wide. Wolfs Den and Falls Dam at least. Some parts of Rocky Mountain Loop and Slab Pile do get a bit narrow but I don’t see any new trail rash from this one haha

Yeah, I'm thinking about pulling and painting all of the silver trim pieces in the truck. I was looking down at the shifter earlier, and I was nearly blinded by the sun. I've miraculously been spared that effect from the trim pieces higher up like around the screen, but I'm of the mind to just paint over that stuff anyway.

In CA it looks like purchase date, and the county, and zip code you live in affect the fees (in addition to vehicle type, model year, motive power, and purchase price).

Yes, I was one of those guys that paid a $4k markup and had a dealer installed moonroof for a total of $51k prior to taxes and registration. Why? Because I sold my great 2001 supercharged 4x4runner for a friends 2016 loaded Rubicon. I thought I would take a new path after having Toyota 4x4’s as my daily drivers since 1982. I had the Jeep for one month and hated it. Noisy, bad ride, no room,etc. Got out even on the Jeep and felt so happy to get out of it and back to a 4Runner. I’m sure I will get over 17 years and 200k out of this 4Runner. I DODGEd a bullet.
