What is the fastest speed you ever got?

It's not how fast. It's how fast you can stop. Haven't even tried to see where the limiter kicks in on the GX but I'd guess that brick is good for 120mph. I've regularly done bursts to 140mph in my IS350. It gets there quick but LA traffic doesn't make it worth it. Gone well over 150mph on race tracks in race cars.

I got the T4R over 100 mph, other cars, way more than that. I think I'm getting older (read wiser) because nowdays I stay around 80 or so...

Highest speed reached in my 4Runner was 185km/h. And this was for quite long stretches with high lateral winds and a cargo box on top of the car. Maybe crazy but it performed admirably with the exception of fuel consumption which I approximated at 26l/100km (that's about 9mpg). All this happened on Ruta40 in Patagonia, Argentina where traffic is very sparse and the asphalt is straight and smooth.

110mph in '06 v8 4x4 T4r on a back-stretch of 2 lane road out in Lafayette county, north MS. Whew! Scary torwards the end when I went over a rickety bridge! 188mph (heads up display) in my roommate's '08 vette z06 on I-55 torwards Memphis. Now that thing is wicked fast, but it doesn't take mud puddles like the Runner!

Just yesterday I had a Team Members house broken into, I jammed on the freeway to meet the police at his house, and it flew! I got it up to 89 MPH.. :wow2:

I have some bad tires on mine, it was shaking and swerving but I got there ok. :lookout:
