Which Trans Cooler for AZ Heat??

I have run the B&M 70264 for over two years now and love it. I have pulled loaded trailers from AZ to WA and WA to AZ as well as in the stay of AZ without a single issue. I'd be down to wheel with you fellas as well. We had a great meet here in Sedona at the end of December.

I've been satisfied with the Tru Cool. I replaced the radiator and did like most connected some hose & clamps to the bottom connections on the lower radiator. Granted, we live in entirely different climates but even on the hottest day my trans temp stays around 160.

Awesome! Yep, that's the one I grabbed from Amazon this afternoon. Thanks for the photos as well. It seems the hose that comes with these kist isn't enough to complete the install. Was that the case with yours, Alpha? If so, how much extra did you need. Thanks again to everyone for helping me out with this. Much obliged. :cowboy:

TrU cool 4589 for me too. Ran it for years in my old Tacoma and my 4Runner. [MENTION=73515]ajonesnv[/MENTION] did a write up on how to notch it. His B&M is the same size, but like BlazeRunner it has threaded fittings and from the looks of the plates it doesn't appear to have a cold bypass which is why he has an external one. And the weather here in Vegas pushes 120 sometimes which is why I wanted as big as possible.

i have the BM 70268 and even one days under 0 degrees driving around town i can still get it up above 160F with little work. So opt for the bigger cooler.

I still remember that day some time ago now when it hit 122 degrees here and the humidity was 1%!

That was a good day to wash the Toyota pickup I had at the time

Just wanted to give and update, I have the b & m 70268 which is rated for 13k btu. I was messing around on the lake for about 20 minutes today with outside temp of 15deg the Trans got up to 210f......get the biggest cooler possible in upgrading come summer.
