I only went the the snow 2 times with my (old) 4Runner. I am not a big fan of frozen water....

There was only 1 trail I knew of, other than that we were just up there hiking.

What wheels are those in the bottom picture? Procomp Series 52?

I laugh every time I look at the title, how cheesy. Doesn't take away from the fact that the pictures in here are badass! Wish I could contribute but if the weather cooperates Mr Scat Adams may have some pictures up here of that golden pearl in the snow sometime soon. Keep on keepin on everyone, every time I have to park the Camry to carpool up to the mountain I face palm myself.

I had to go get books today. They have cleared a lot of the roads off, but there is still some ice and snow around. Didn't feel like walking further so I figured this spot was as good as any. Got quite a few looks too.

Yeah. They're nice wheels.

There are some on here from time to time, but your best bet might be Craigslist.

Parked along side of Highway 2 at Stevens Pass - Absolutely no slippage with the General Altimax Artic winter tires even in 2WD unless I try. I've also have yet to engage the ABS during normal braking. The only time I've needed 4WD this season has been to use lower gears to slow the truck coming down snowy passes and to drive into 2 feet snow drifts for fun. The only drawback I've noticed has been that these tires dig to get traction so I've got to power through deep snow quickly as to not dig holes. :tongue:

No real snow here yet! We got like an inch last night, and until then there was no snow on the ground. So different from the ~40inches we had this time last year.

Took the 4Runner out for a drive today.....darn coil pack was acting up though...but managed to get a pic of her anyway!

Hoping to get that fixed tomorrow...and then maybe get some pics of it toying around outside on Wednesday!

Went up to the pass today to play around in the snow. There wasn't quite as much as I was hoping for, but it was still fun. I did learn on the way down the mountain, that my brakes REALLY suck. They were pulsating the whole way down. DANG you, stock 4runner brakes!

Haha, My parents ( previous owners) and I are huge University of Oregon fans. Go Ducks! I'll probably take it off and replace it with a T4r.org decal though.

I am back Portland now but New Years day we took a drive up Greenwater to Huckleberry Mountain and played in the snow.

My great nephews had a blast and we even saw some elk.
