1. That means I need 14 and I only ordered 3.........
2. These are not the same as the oznium PLCC-2 LEDs for the guage cluster are they?

3. For the recirc and defrost button, do they also need 2 leds each? One for the button itself and the second for the indicator strip of light that comes on when you depress the buttons themselves?

also my color they are blue, blue on the arrow and blue on the background lighting, no white. only the interior map and dome and door is white, i dont want to do blue, since u cant really see it.

Interesting. In the pics you posted they look white on the arrows but blue on the background. But then you mentioned that you didn't do blue because you can't see it? What are you referring to now? The dome light? I get that is not blue, but the lighting for the HVAC background is blue and the arrows look white, but you said they are blue. Please clarify what you mean.

dont forget to solder an led on the off button, everyone should know that theres no led on the off selector arrow.

for the indicator arrows, they are not the same as the PLCC leds for your dash.

Here is the breakdown of the 3mm LEDs (non-Neo3's):
1 - window switch
4 - Fan speed (5 if you want the off arrow lit up - what riceandpho was referring to)
2 - A/C
5 - air selector
1 - Recirc indicator on
1 - Defrost indicator on

Which means you'll need 11-12 more depending on what you want to light up.

that was some old pics, see every arrow is blue, i only do the cluster and hvac blue on everything, the interior map and domes i only do white, i tried blue b4 and it was not as useful as full white.
Good thing darkie break the list of leds to you, i did try some neo3 leds on the switches, it fits but it wont let me push the switch, so i just leave it stock on those.

Hi darkie3495, here's my attempt of clearing this up for everyone else having the same questions as me. Please edit this post if I've made any mistakes or left out anything. I know I may have not covered everything for the Limited 4Runners, so please add those into this list so that you don't get bombarded by newbies like myself asking the same thing over and over again.

HVAC knobs (3 big black knobs beneath the HVAC LCD screen

1. Fan speed (5 3mm LED's if you want the off arrow lit up) for the selected speed and 1 neo3 3mm LED for the background color of the Knob
2. A/C (2 3mm LEDS - one for the "Auto" selection, 1 for the "A/C" selection and 1 Neo3 3mm LED for the background lighting)
3. Air selector direction - 5 3mm LEDs for the buttons and 1 Neo3 3mm for the background light)

HVAC LCD screen - 2 Neo5 5mm LEDs

Recirc button (1 3mm LED for the "ON" state and 1 Neo3 3mm LED for the button itself)
Defrost button (1 3mm LED for the "ON" state and 1 Neo3 3mm LED for the button itself)
Rear Power window Switch (1 Neo3 3mm LED)

Driver side power window switch - 1 3mm LED

DAC, Seat heater, Diff Lock, RSCA, VSC Off - 6 3mm LEDs

2H-4H-4L knob 1 Neo3 3mm LED

Gear Shifter lights in center console - 1 #74 small wedge LED

Glove box - 1 #74 small wedge LED

Cup holders - 2 7-xHP LEDs

Gauge cluster roughly 40 PLCC-2 LEDs

Gear shift use a #74 its a small wedge type, glove box also use that.
also if you have dual climate control, its gona be differnt.

Can't wait to see it Alex! To change the background lighting on the rpm gauge, you just change the 3 center LEDs right?

No, those three center LEDs just light up the needle. You need to find which LEDs illuminate the perimeter, and that all depends on what trim model you have. Sr5 and sport are the same, limited is different.

Mine is the sport. I guess that means all the gauges backlighting have the LEDs on the perimeter of the gauges?

I won't be swapping out any other LED's other than perhaps the background lighting for the gears. I'm deliberately excluding all the warning light LED's that are in the RPM gauge as well as the gauge on the right hand side.

One of my carpool buddies at work is an Electrical Engineer and he offered to do the soldering for me. Thanks again for your offer. He goes on vacation 3rd week of March, so if it's not warm enough by then, I may have to take the gauges out before he comes back (1 month later) and send them to you instead.
