i thought about those but i just couldnt pass up the 225 for these that have given me zero issue. plus i wanted a little break from BJ arms after the fun i had with the LR ones crapping out every 5000 miles

The rusty spot where it should be polished. That corner is missing
I'm fairly positive that isn't designed for a bumpstop. That's why you limit your droop with limit straps and your up travel with bumpstops. That bashing on that ledge will tear things up quick.

What I think is that that piece was not machined properly and when torqued down it put more pressure on that corner and broke the piece.

Definitely not a bump stop! But a machined surface for friction, I suppose.

Looks kinda like the bolt wasnt torqued down all the way, or came loose after some use, which allowed the misallignment spacer to come away from the uniball, and as it articulated, the misallignment got caught on the edge and snapped off. I dont see how else it couldve happened.

Looking at the part closer I agree during full droop it is hitting and breaking stuff. Saw other marks on the damaged part.
I need to invest in limiting straps.
Could it be from the extended travel coilover and the wrong arm?

Your misalignment is stopping your travel, which is not good if you're jumping. Or whatever you're doing to fully droop your suspension at a high velocity.
I would say invest in some limiting straps. Thats my next project.

So after a ton of back and forth IMing with [MENTION=73515]ajonesnv[/MENTION] and [MENTION=2243]truckhigh[/MENTION], THANKS guys, I think I found an acceptable solution to the short and larger ID sleeves that come on the 4th Gen arms. Though [MENTION=124121]dkyleb[/MENTION] was able to get new sleeves from the eBay seller which is great, I was not able to get a response from them, but I bought mine over 6 months ago so I am OK with that. The bushings that come with these arms are good so there is no reason to replace the bushings if they are still in good condition, however I have sanded mine down so I wanted to start fresh with new proper fitting sleeves and bushings when I install my lift spindles. I contacted several manufacturers and found that Dirt King Fabrications has the best all-around Upper Arm Bushing Rebuild Kit around. Keep in mind these are eBay arms so budget is a must for me, but I don't really want to sacrifice on quality. The Dirt King Kit comes with 8 - 60684 polyurethane bushings and 4 - OD 25.4mm X ID 14mm (same as the long bolts not the 16mm ones from eBay which have caused me some shifting) X 56.007mm long plus lube for $56 plus tax and shipping. So all said and done $67.28, and if you don’t need to replace your bushings now you will have a set ready to be installed when you do. We will see how all this works out once I receive and install these along with my spindles. Again, thanks to everybody for all the very useful information!
