I'm new to the 4Runner club and quite frankly, didn't think I was going to be getting one, but luckily my wife loved them and we found a used one at our local dealer so it all worked out.
I've been spending the past few weeks lurking and learning some of the basics about the rig, which means my plans for some minimal upgrades has expanded!
Here is what I am working with -
2014 SR5/premium (white) with 27k miles on it. I got the windows tinted last week (20% on top of the factory smoked glass) and the 4Runner came with Nokian Rotiiva ATs, which I like for now but will switch out when the time comes.
Plans/Hopes/Dreams for the ride (in no particular order)
*skids
*sliders
*bumper
*recovery
*wheels
*suspension/lift
*cargo basket/roof rack
*Spare tire/utility rack on the back
I couldn't be happier with the ride and will be documenting the progress on a different thread!
