Just to clarify, the URD Y pipe does not require an O2 sensor sim or spacer. The Doug Thorley long tube headers will require an O2 sim or spacer.

URD sells an O2 sim for the 4.0 and a universal one for the 4.7L:

I got the URD universal O2 sim but also saw the following product posted in a similar thread inquiring about this exact same topic.

Will tackle the DT long tube installation either next week or some time in June if time permits.

Depending on your location, keep in mind the car will not pass the sniffer test or visual inspection.

Ah... Well there it is! When I ordered the insert it came with the air guide. Apparently there is an OEM hood scoop grille I need to order. Can’t find the part number though

You can take the factory plastic scoop cup thing and drill out a few rivets and put the mesh part of the hood scoop grille back in in front of the light bar. That's what I did so it protects/camouflages the LED bar from rocks etc.

That’s the plan... BUT from what I’m reading it’s a ***** of an install. So if I can find someone to do it for under 1k that’s the route I will take.

I ordered the air guide thinking the mesh was part of it. I have no idea why the mesh comes as a separate piece. You would think it would be riveted in stock. Ah well.

Thanks for adding this. I’d be pissed if I ordered it only to find out it didn’t come complete! So now I guess you have to order the mesh piece, or are you just going to use something different?

Ordered the mesh... leaving the air guide off. Going to experiment a little bit. Ordered a cheap open intake with 4” pipe off eBay. Will see how it bolts up and if fabricating a duct is possible. I’ve seen it done on a Tacoma. Probably minimal to no benefit other than cool factor. Haha

This ARB locker fits the 8" axle housing and won't fit the 9.5" Diamond Axle, there are ARB lockers for the 9.5" axle housing.

-Backup OEM studs - M10 1.25 40mm
-Titanium works titanium exhaust manifold studs
-Back up M10 1.25 thread tap
-Hewitt tech AIS delete

Will install the Hewit tech AIS delete now. Might as well install the URD O2 sim now as well. If it fails, backup below.

From the Toyota parts page on the previous page, to get this hood scoop 'mesh' did you order the hood scoop 'plate'? I'm kind of confused what to get if I want to get the mesh.
