Has anyone found a good use for this besides holding coins?

I think its a coin tray but not too sure if it could even hold many coins without them flying out when you accelerate hard or brake hard. Brochure doesn't have any picture with something in it. Also there is coin holder in the armrest box, so seems redundant.

BTW, the cubby next to the AUX jack holds my iphone perfectly, you just kind of wedge it in and it stays put no matter how you drive. The other hole behind the 4WD shifter is not a good place cuz the phone will rock loosely at every turn (SR5 4WD model).

i've found it works great for chapstick.

i keep change in a baggy. the area up under the aux thing holds one of those mini toothpastes from the dentist....just in case.

my phone fits great behind the shifter....but then again i've got a crack berry with one of those hard cases with the additional rubber thing on the outside.

so it generally doesnt go anywhere if i set it on anything.

Oakley Gascan's...nice. I usually put those up in the sunglass holder and my aviators down by the 4x4 lever.

For the cubby next to the Aux input, I find it just perfect to stick packs of gum in there - stride or orbit shaped containers. The door still shuts too.

My creative zen MP3 player fits nicely there. Dosen't the Iturd fit there as well?

If you cut a piece of that sticky rubber "dashboard phone holder" materiel to fit it makes that area much more useful. I keep a bluetooth earpiece in there with no issues of it moving around unless I make a particularly violent maneuver.

You can also line the area by the power outlet to keep things from moving around.

I found that I needed more 12v outlets. This space below the AUX port worked really well.

I bought a big bag of Peppermint Lifesavers and put my empty wrappers there!

There is a coin holder in the armrest. I didn't even notice it until a couple of weeks ago. It fits quarters only.
