Helped a Friend Get His First 4RNR Yeterday

On topic, I found my sister's '02 for her and my dad's '06 and they're both really happy with them. It's nice when you can help a friend/family member find a vehicle they love (especially if it's a 4Runner!)

Mr Wison, his previous vehicle was a Tahoe, talked to him this morning and he real happy with the purchase. I looked at the vehicle again at work with him and the belts are new, the battery is new and the engine bay is super clean, he got a real smoking deal. When I say the interior is clean, it it just like knew. He ordered WTs last night.

To top it off, and I did not look that good, but today we pulled the rear mat back and it has 3rd row seating. He did not know that and my TP of course does not have 3rd row, so I did not really think about it or look for it.

I am regularly checking on Here's Johnny. Stif won't return. I know speedy is back under a new name and I am watching closely. I believe in 2nd chances but not 8th chances.

By no means do I want to dig up old issues, you can see by my post I am middle of the road, nerd engineer, just like data and info here.

But in a nut shell what gets someone banned, trashy language? Threats to other members? Just curious....

We have rules but bottom line don't post stupid stuff. Even if you do I will give a warning to play nice. If you listen that's great. If not you get either an infraction or ban depending on your level of posting stupidity.

It has the 4.0, I did not know they put a 4 cylinder in a 4Runner? At least the Gen 4 or 5, I should clarify.

Forgot to add, he traded in a 2004 Tahoe with 230K miles, they gave him $500 for it. Do you think a 2004 4Runner with 230K will fetch more than $500?

I got $2k for my 2004 2wd with 250k and a banged up rear bumper.
