My luck... the day I see this is the day after it closes.
ORDERING IS NOW CLOSED!
Due to the unexpected massive quantity of orders I have received in the last few days, I am ending this deal a day early.
My schedule is very full and I will have very limited access to the laser cutters.
Thank you to everyone who placed orders
(and to my girlfriend who is a huge part of this with me)
:thanks:
Will you be taking orders in the future? If so, when?
I cannot confirm if I ever will, but september would be the time to check back with me.

If anybody doesn't want theirs or changed their mind I may be interested. Hit me up!
You can always still get the plans from me and have a plastics supply store cut it for you![]()
It's funny this thread came up. There were several sheets of acrylic in my shop when I bought my house years ago. Always wanted to do something with it. I own a heatgun so that's not an issue. The issue is, cutting it. I've worked with it some for work to make covers for UPS battery racks and just don't have a proven way to cut or drill it without damaging it.
So yes, finding a place to cut and drill it is key. I'm close to redoing my whole wiring so I'll be buying your plans in the near future. Just making lists and bugets now.

Good to note. As for drilling, we found using a unibit with only a single (not a double) cutting "tooth edge" (thingy mag jigger wacha ma call it) worked pretty well. Much better then a normal drill bit.I have had some success with cutting acrylic with a scroll saw, on very low speed. It will take a while, but if you keep the speed down and keep air blowing across the cutting area, it should be ok. You'll have to sand it with some medium sandpaper, then wet sand with fine (400 gr). It won't be the same as laser, but it will work.

Pre-cut platforms are NO LONGER AVAILABLE!! I will still sell the Adobe illustrator plans for them for $15 though
