Old Honda Accord ran into this parked truck on the side of Rt. 78 in the beginning of the summer. The guy was immediately decapitated and his car caught fire almost instantly.

Back in 2003 I wrote about seeing a wreck on the road and I stopped to help. I couldn't post a picture because the picture was too large. Now, thanks to photobucket, I can post it.

I tried to find the thread, but I guess GatorGreg has pruned our database and my story is gone. Bottom line, it was icey roads, I was the first one there and the person survied the wreck. I waited for the ambulance. Oh, one interesting thing is, the car was running up-side down. Kind of scary to be the first one come up on a wreck.

For some reason, the radar detector does not stick to the windshield of the GX straight. No matter how much I play with it, it doesn't stick. I think it is the solution that they use at the dealers carwash. I never have a problem sticking it to my 4Runner.

Saw this Bald Eagle on vacation right next to Oregon Hwy 31. Every time I see a Bald Eagle the hair on the back of my neck stands on end.

Saw this Bald Eagle on vacation right next to Oregon Hwy 31. Every time I see a Bald Eagle the hair on the back of my neck stands on end.

First time I saw one was in Florida, my hair stood up as well. Its such an incredible bird - watching them fish/hunt is awesome not to mention they are quite good looking. Too bad he's not as good of representation of what the US stands for now.
