Will this buff out?

ya...I had a fender bender once, though I just had a screwed wheel and fender.... frame was tweeked... totalled.... guess not all experiences are the same

Is that vehicle has a frame or unibody? in case of unibody frame damage does not guarantee vehicle to be totaled. I`ve seen many frames pulled back to shape and paid for by insurance. It will go on record though.

why should your insurance pay anything? was he uninsured?

Based on both cars, tree, etc. a lawyer might not be a bad idea, especially since he was dui, there is a criminal case on top of all this.

Nothing a little spit and elbow grease won't clean out. I hope the process doesn't take long to work out with insurance

Glad you are ok

Run away?!?! how the HECK do these people WALK away from things like this...does the large amounts of alcohol allow them to be bullet proof or something?!?!?!
:mmph:

as Fletch would tell you...ball barrings and 30 weight oil...and you should be good

Anyone know if 2007 Nissan Altima buffs out?

A beyond-drunk kid decided to get behind the wheel of his car after an all night bender. At 4:55am he loses control, speeding down my street. He somehow missed the front of my GTI and my neighbors car, takes out my tree (roots and all), goes airborn and slams into the side of my 4Runner and partially lands on my Passat wagon ruining the rear hatch, rear quarter panel, etc.

Hopefully my insurance totals the 4Runner. Don't want it back after this.

Moral of the story: please don't drink and drive.

K? Thanks!

P.S. He did try to "run" from the scene. My neighbors followed him and told the police where he was hiding. First stop the hospital, seconds stop...

dent puller from auto zone costs $19. Which no doubt will be what the insurance guy will use to justify repair costs.

Looking at the plastic licence plate frame on the Altima I'm calculating the odds that he has insurance...or adequate insurance...not looking good. I hope for your property recovery that he does! Good Luck, you are taking this way better than I would.

I don't know WTF some people are thinking. If you are wasted, walk or call a cab. It's just not worth dying over or worse killing somebody whose only mistake was a twist of fate that put them around you at the wrong split second.

totally agree....especially with cheap fares like Uber/Lyft so readily available, its not worth an accident or a loss of life.....

Man, what a nice 4Runner that was--glad no one was injured. Hoping they total that thing so you can get a shiny new 2017. He must've been going pretty fing fast to uproot that tree. Given all the trees Torrance is pulling out and replacing right now, Im guessing the city will replace it. Not sure where you are but we're just off PV Blvd and I know how fast people jam down Anza late at night.

Everybody agrees with that when they are sober. The problem is that drunk people are drunk, which means they are not thinking straight.

That's the whole problem.
