anyone ever replaced the light in the clutch cancel switch? early style if it matters

It is on the side of the switch. once you remove the switch there is a little hole with a plastic holder in it. Slot screwdriver and you should be good It is similar to the ones for the ECT/Defog buttons.

Slightly off topic but I did this years ago and everything went fine but about a month ago all my dash lights went out. I checked the fuse I thought was associated with it but it was fine. Anyone know what to check next?

I had a similar experience with my 01 Tacoma a couple years ago. Installed the superbrightleds and worked great for about a year, then they started flickering consistently. A couple months after that they all went out. I eventually replaced them again, but I've lost a little trust in SBLED's

All the other lights came out awesome, (thanks OP) but the hazard being out has been driving me crazy. I spent the last hour or so scanning through this thread and a few others and it appears the hazard light is called NEO3-xHP LED Bulb on superbrightleds. Should be the same as on the rear window & ECT/defroster. I have 3 on order (screwed up the bulb on the ECT before so I'm going to get an extra just in case.)

Not sure if you can cancel your order or not but the guys at ECT solutions are freaking awesome. Check out their facebook page and reach out for a price list.
LED seems higher quality than SBLEDs.

I thought it was worth bumping this thread up to mention that I FINALLY found a LED for the dash cluster that doesn't create such obvious "hot spots" (brighter in one area than another). It's 90% better.

My SuperbrightLEDs lasted 10months and started flickering before one of them (center one) went completely out.

Hoping a Samsung name brand quality bulb does better than the cheap ones. These feel and look much higher quality

These are the #24 bulbs from superbrightleds, they do hotspot a bit.

Anyone know why my "D" light on the dash when I'm in drive is half the brightness of the rest of them with stock incandescent bulb in there? Picking up some voltage drop or extra resistance somewhere? I replaced it with 2 other #74 incandescents (After trying LED but it was BLINDINGly bright) but same thing, very dim.

Huh, that's interesting. My dash does the same thing with the "drive" light, but I just assumed it was because the bulb is old.
