If you don't care for KDSS and locker (personally I'd only buy a TE if it had it) stay on course with the LE. You can de-chrome and add the scoop later.

That was the problem, the one that came in (mistakenly) did not have the KDSS, if it had .....
The only thing the "mistake" had that was correct was it was Black.

I would wait for the LE for the interior, since the TE's interior is almost the same as your FJ, there's no options for leather, and obviously without the KDSS, the off-road capability wouldn't be as good.

LE, definitely. There is little that a trail does that a Limited can not. Additionally, the TE does not have KDSS. I enjoy the creature feature refinement of the limited, and as Phil and Harper have done, a cosmetic conversion to a trail isn't anything more than money. On top of that, XREAS is perfectly capable on and off road. It negates the need to replace the stock suspension immediately. As a matter of fact, I am quite fond of the XREAS on my limited.
