Hey there. I've been doing some browsing for new gps nav units because I thought eclipse went under. Turns out another company picked them up when they heard how much Rosen sucked. I'm glad to hear this as I paid for an eclipse AVN62D and when I was in Iraq I heard Eclipse went under. Oh did that piss me off. That and the ability to update my disk. For AVN62D I need the MDV80D. They sell it for $300. Torrent up?
Some things I learned, while researching Eclipse is the automatic lockout bypass switch you can install. Never knew why my unit couldn't operate like my buddies unit. Input while moving, and watch dvds feature. Keep in mind how illegal that is if you get pulled over.
The top of the line AVN726T is made for Toyota. It comes with the fitting bracket and is HDD flash based. For ordering Eclipse accessories call MITO at 800-433-6486. For the lockout bypass you need to call unlimited radio at 800-233-2216. I'm glad to hear I have options once again. I hope this helps others.
